it’s always been a part of my life. Even as a child, if I didn’t have anything else to do, if I could find a piece of paper and pencil I was content. However, in my recent years, the dynamic of my

relationship with art has changed.

As I began to get more in tune with myself, I realized that art is not something that I do, it’s just who I am. It’s who we all are really. Everything around us...the sound of rain, the rhyme of the woodpecker against the tree, the way the trees and grass dance in the wind, even in the grocery store, the transactions that take place if you’re still enough you can hear and see the divine canvas that this world plays out every day. That’s why I always tell people if your heart is still beating, you have a very important role to fulfill each day. Your tempo in this cosmic Orchestra is still needed. So yes I am an artist but we all are. It’s our birthright, it’s our true nature. As I’ve grown I carry this with me when I am afraid or I feel inadequate. “I am nature’s greatest miracle, who can stop me?

Nature is art, it is undefeated and has withstood the test of time. Our ancestors created art to tell the story of our truest legacy. Art is to enlighten, to feel, to embody, and express. A true artist is a time traveler, and their art will always stand.
