Malasana is a yogi squat that increases foot and ankle mobility while opening the hips and strengthening the back.

How to:

  • Separate the feet wider than hip distance apart with the feet turned slightly outward.

  • Lower the hips down toward the floor with the knees wide.

  • Straighten the back and bring the palms together into Anjali Mudra at the chest.
