- The Eagle & The Fox | Aesop's Fables
God is the ultimate judge. An eagle and a fox became close friends and decided to start their families near one another to strengthen their friendship. The eagle built a nest at the top of a high tree, while the fox settled in a thicket at the foot of it and produced a litter of cubs. One day, the fox went out foraging for food, and the eagle, who also wanted food for her little eaglets, flew down into the thicket, caught up all of the fox's cubs, and carried them up into the tree for a meal for herself and her young. When the fox came back and found out what had happened, though she was sorry for the loss of her cubs, she was even more furious because she couldn't reach the eagle in the tree and get her vengeance. So the fox just sat down not far off and cursed the eagle. But it wasn't long before she had her revenge. Some villagers nearby were sacrificing a goat on a neighboring altar, and the eagle flew down and carried off a piece of burning flesh to her nest. A strong gust of wind came, and the embers from the burning flesh caused the nest to catch fire. Her eaglets, unable to fly, fell half roasted to the ground. The fox immediately ran over and devoured them one by one, right in front of the eagle.

- Learn How to Manifest Anything with the Power of Your Thoughts | Joe Dispenza
Change is so hard so let's offer another alternative. When you begin to create from the field, instead of from matter, the only way you can do that is you have to learn how to take all of your attention off your body and become a nobody. Take all of your attention off all the people in your life that you give so much of your attention and energy to because you have an emotion associated with them. And get beyond all the people in your life and go from a someone to a no one. Now, if you're worked your whole life being a someone, thinking that you're your body you have to work a little harder because that's your identity, that's what you're associated with. That's a long time of conditioning. And if this was easy, everyone would be doing it. So then you have to get beyond all the things in your life. Your cell phone, your house, your car, and go from something to nothing. You have to take all your attention. off the place you work the place you life, the place you need to be, the place you're sitting, and go from somewhere to nowhere. YOu gotta stop thinking about the predictable future and the familiar past and go right into the present moment and go from some time to no time. And if you do that properly, you become pure consciousness. Liveology Yoga Studios & Magazine creates uplifting content and products, sharing "More life. More yoga." - Countries where TikTok is Banned
Should we restrict TikTok? The social media platform TikTok continues to be under scrutiny across the world because of the level of exposure it offers. TikTok uses one of the biggest benefits of globalization to allow people across the world to connect in real time through short videos. Because of this, information can be easily shared, and dances, songs, and challenges can go viral in an instant. TikTok can't control what people choose to upload or how people respond to what they see. However, we're seeing a concerning trend where children, who are particularly vulnerable to suggestion, are accidentally injuring or killing themselves trying to act out some of the challenges they see on TikTok. Challenges range from combining rubbing alcohol and fire to hanging yourself to experience "a rush." Needless to say, the results can be tragic. Countries have also had concerns about data privacy through the app. Here is a list of the countries who have currently or previously restricted TikTok. Baaaaaaa. Also Called Meat Goat Cabrito (very young) Chevon (young) By-Products Milk Cashmere (fiber) Mohair (fiber) Leather Information Goats are four-legged, horned animals that live in groups called tribes. They are herbivores, consuming only vegetation, mostly grass. Goats have rectangle-shaped pupils. They like to be elevated off the ground and will often stand on tree stumps. They are great climbers and can be seen climbing trees, hills, and other seemingly treacherous landscapes. Goats have been domesticated by humans for 10,000 years for meat and milk, and are one of the earliest animals domesticated. Other than meat, the byproducts of goats are used for many purposes. Many goats are domesticated just for their milk. Cashmere is a fine fabric made from goat hair. Goat meat has one of the lowest fat contents of any other land animal, even leaner than chicken. - Ishmael
“Hagar, slave-girl of Sarai, where have you come from and where are you going?” Information Hebrew Name: Ishmael English Translation: Known For: Egyptian slave girl of Sarai/Sarah, Abraham's wife Given to Abram to conceive a child, as Abram and Sarai awaited the son promised by God Mother of Ishmael, who is considered to be the forefather of Islam Ran away after Sarai treated her harshly In the wilderness, promised by an angel that her son would be the father of a nation Mentioned in: Genesis Al-Baqarah Ali 'Imran Al An'Am Ibrahim Maryam Al-Anbya Sad Scripture References The Birth of Ishmael Genesis 16:1-16 1 Now Sarai, Abram’s wife, bore him no children. She had an Egyptian slave-girl whose name was Hagar, 2 and Sarai said to Abram, “You see that the LORD has prevented me from bearing children; go in to my slave-girl; it may be that I shall obtain children by her.” And Abram listened to the voice of Sarai. 3 So, after Abram had lived ten years in the land of Canaan, Sarai, Abram’s wife, took Hagar the Egyptian, her slave-girl, and gave her to her husband Abram as a wife. 4 He went in to Hagar, and she conceived; and when she saw that she had conceived, she looked with contempt on her mistress. 5 Then Sarai said to Abram, “May the wrong done to me be on you! I gave my slave-girl to your embrace, and when she saw that she had conceived, she looked on me with contempt. May the LORD judge between you and me!” 6 But Abram said to Sarai, “Your slave-girl is in your power; do to her as you please.” Then Sarai dealt harshly with her, and she ran away from her. 7 The angel of the LORD found her by a spring of water in the wilderness, the spring on the way to Shur. 8 And he said, “Hagar, slave-girl of Sarai, where have you come from and where are you going?” She said, “I am running away from my mistress Sarai.” 9 The angel of the LORD said to her, “Return to your mistress, and submit to her.” 10 The angel of the LORD also said to her, “I will so greatly multiply your offspring that they cannot be counted for multitude.” 11 And the angel of the LORD said to her, “Now you have conceived and shall bear a son; you shall call him Ishmael, for the LORD has given heed to your affliction. 12 He shall be a wild ass of a man, with his hand against everyone, and everyone’s hand against him; and he shall live at odds with all his kin.” 13 So she named the LORD who spoke to her, “You are El-roi”; for she said, “Have I really seen God and remained alive after seeing him?” 14 Therefore the well was called Beer-lahai-roi; it lies between Kadesh and Bered. 15 Hagar bore Abram a son; and Abram named his son, whom Hagar bore, Ishmael. 16 Abram was eighty-six years old when Hagar bore him Ishmael. Hagar and Ishmael Sent Away Gen. 21:8-20 8 The child grew, and was weaned; and Abraham made a great feast on the day that Isaac was weaned. 9 But Sarah saw the son of Hagar the Egyptian, whom she had borne to Abraham, playing with her son Isaac. 10 So she said to Abraham, “Cast out this slave woman with her son; for the son of this slave woman shall not inherit along with my son Isaac.” 11 The matter was very distressing to Abraham on account of his son. 12 But God said to Abraham, “Do not be distressed because of the boy and because of your slave woman; whatever Sarah says to you, do as she tells you, for it is through Isaac that offspring shall be named for you. 13 As for the son of the slave woman, I will make a nation of him also, because he is your offspring.” 14 So Abraham rose early in the morning, and took bread and a skin of water, and gave it to Hagar, putting it on her shoulder, along with the child, and sent her away. And she departed, and wandered about in the wilderness of Beer-sheba. 15 When the water in the skin was gone, she cast the child under one of the bushes. 16 Then she went and sat down opposite him a good way off, about the distance of a bowshot; for she said, “Do not let me look on the death of the child.” And as she sat opposite him, she lifted up her voice and wept. 17 And God heard the voice of the boy; and the angel of God called to Hagar from heaven, and said to her, “What troubles you, Hagar? Do not be afraid; for God has heard the voice of the boy where he is. 18 Come, lift up the boy and hold him fast with your hand, for I will make a great nation of him.” 19 Then God opened her eyes and she saw a well of water. She went, and filled the skin with water, and gave the boy a drink. 20 God was with the boy, and he grew up; he lived in the wilderness, and became an expert with the bow. 21 He lived in the wilderness of Paran; and his mother got a wife for him from the land of Egypt. Surah Al-Baqarah 2:124-127 124 ˹Remember˺ when Abraham was tested by his Lord with ˹certain˺ commandments, which he fulfilled. Allah said, “I will certainly make you into a role model for the people.” Abraham asked, “What about my offspring?” Allah replied, “My covenant is not extended to the wrongdoers.” 125 And ˹remember˺ when We made the Sacred House1 a centre and a sanctuary for the people ˹saying˺, “˹You may˺ take the standing-place of Abraham2 as a site of prayer.” And We entrusted Abraham and Ishmael to purify My House for those who circle it, who meditate in it, and who bow and prostrate themselves ˹in prayer˺. 126 And ˹remember˺ when Abraham said, “My Lord, make this city ˹of Mecca˺ secure and provide fruits to its people—those among them who believe in Allah and the Last Day.” He answered, “As for those who disbelieve, I will let them enjoy themselves for a little while, then I will condemn them to the torment of the Fire. What an evil destination!” 127 And ˹remember˺ when Abraham raised the foundation of the House with Ishmael, ˹both praying,˺ “Our Lord! Accept ˹this˺ from us. You are indeed the All-Hearing, All-Knowing. 136 Say, ˹O believers,˺ “We believe in Allah and what has been revealed to us; and what was revealed to Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, and his descendants; and what was given to Moses, Jesus, and other prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them. And to Allah we all submit.” Surah Ibrahim 14:39 All praise is for Allah who has blessed me with Ishmael and Isaac in my old age. My Lord is indeed the Hearer of ˹all˺ prayers. New Revised Standard Version (NRSV) The Clear Quran Liveology Yoga Studios & Magazine creates uplifting content and products, sharing "More life. - The Creation | James Weldon Johnson
And God said: I'm lonely still. The Creation by James Weldon Johnson And God stepped out on space, And he looked around and said: I'm lonely— I'll make me a world. And far as the eye of God could see Darkness covered everything, Blacker than a hundred midnights Down in a cypress swamp. Then God smiled, And the light broke, And the darkness rolled up on one side, And the light stood shining on the other, And God said: That's good! Then God reached out and took the light in his hands, And God rolled the light around in his hands Until he made the sun; And he set that sun a-blazing in the heavens. And the light that was left from making the sun God gathered it up in a shining ball And flung it against the darkness, Spangling the night with the moon and stars. Then down between The darkness and the light He hurled the world; And God said: That's good! Then God himself stepped down— And the sun was on his right hand, And the moon was on his left; The stars were clustered about his head, And the earth was under his feet. And God walked, and where he trod His footsteps hollowed the valleys out And bulged the mountains up. Then he stopped and looked and saw That the earth was hot and barren. So God stepped over to the edge of the world And he spat out the seven seas— He batted his eyes, and the lightnings flashed— He clapped his hands, and the thunders rolled— And the waters above the earth came down, The cooling waters came down. Then the green grass sprouted, And the little red flowers blossomed, The pine tree pointed his finger to the sky, And the oak spread out his arms, The lakes cuddled down in the hollows of the ground, And the rivers ran down to the sea; And God smiled again, And the rainbow appeared, And curled itself around his shoulder. Then God raised his arm and he waved his hand Over the sea and over the land, And he said: Bring forth! Bring forth! And quicker than God could drop his hand, Fishes and fowls And beasts and birds Swam the rivers and the seas, Roamed the forests and the woods, And split the air with their wings. And God said: That's good! Then God walked around, And God looked around On all that he had made. He looked at his sun, And he looked at his moon, And he looked at his little stars; He looked on his world With all its living things, And God said: I'm lonely still. Then God sat down— On the side of a hill where he could think; By a deep, wide river he sat down; With his head in his hands, God thought and thought, Till he thought: I'll make me a man! Up from the bed of the river God scooped the clay; And by the bank of the river He kneeled him down; And there the great God Almighty Who lit the sun and fixed it in the sky, Who flung the stars to the most far corner of the night, Who rounded the earth in the middle of his hand; This great God, Like a mammy bending over her baby, Kneeled down in the dust Toiling over a lump of clay Till he shaped it in is his own image; Then into it he blew the breath of life, And man became a living soul. Amen. Amen. Liveology Yoga Studios & Magazine creates uplifting content and products, sharing "More life. More yoga." - Song of Trust and Security in God | Psalm 16
I say to the LORD, “You are my Lord; I have no good apart from you.” Song of Trust and Security in God 16:0 A Miktam of David. 1 Protect me, O God, for in you I take refuge. 2 I say to the LORD, “You are my Lord; I have no good apart from you.” 3 As for the holy ones in the land, they are the noble, in whom is all my delight. 4 Those who choose another god multiply their sorrows; their drink offerings of blood I will not pour out or take their names upon my lips. 5 The LORD is my chosen portion and my cup; you hold my lot. 6 The boundary lines have fallen for me in pleasant places; I have a goodly heritage. 7 I bless the LORD who gives me counsel; in the night also my heart instructs me. 8 I keep the LORD always before me; because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved. 9 Therefore my heart is glad, and my soul rejoices; my body also rests secure. 10 For you do not give me up to Sheol, or let your faithful one see the Pit. 11 You show me the path of life. In your presence there is fullness of joy; in your right hand are pleasures forevermore. - Brahmanaspati. Stand up! | Rig Veda 1.40
Who shall approach the pious? who the man whose sacred grass is trimmed? Book 1. Hymn 40. ´Brahmanaspati 1 O Brahmanaspati, stand up: God-serving men we pray to thee. May they who give good gifts, the Maruts, come to us. Indra, most swift, be thou with them. 2 O Son of Strength, each mortal calls to thee for aid when spoil of battle waits for him. O Maruts, may this man who loves you well obtain wealth of good steeds and hero might. 3 May Brahmaṇaspati draw nigh, may Sūnṛtā the Goddess come, And Gods bring to this rite which gives the five-fold gift the Hero, lover of mankind. 4 He who bestows a noble guerdon on the priest wins fame that never shall decay. For him we offer sacred hero-giving food, peerless and conquering easily. 5 Now Brahmaṇaspati speaks forth aloud the solemn hymn of praise, Wherein Indra and Varuṇa, Mitra, Aryaman, the Gods, have made their dwelling place. 6 May we in holy synods, Gods! recite that hymn, peerless, that brings felicity. If you, O Heroes, graciously accept this word, may it obtain all bliss from you. 7 Who shall approach the pious? who the man whose sacred grass is trimmed? The offerer with his folk advances more and more: he fills his house with precious things. 8 He amplifies his lordly might, with kings he slays: e’en mid alarms he dwells secure In great or lesser fight none checks him, none subdues,—the wielder of the thunderbolt. - Laying Plans | The Art of War by Sun Tzu
The Art of War By Sun Tzu I. Laying Plans 1. Sun Tzu said: The art of war is of vital importance to the State. 2. It is a matter of life and death, a road either to safety or to ruin. Hence it is a subject of inquiry which can on no account be neglected. 3. The art of war, then, is governed by five constant factors, to be taken into account in one's deliberations, when seeking to determine the conditions obtaining in the field. 4. These are: (1) The Moral Law; (2) Heaven; (3) Earth; (4) The Commander; (5) Method and discipline. 5,6. The Moral Law causes the people to be in complete accord with their ruler, so that they will follow him regardless of their lives, undismayed by any danger. 7. Heaven signifies night and day, cold and heat, times and seasons. 8. Earth comprises distances, great and small; danger and security; open ground and narrow passes; the chances of life and death. 9. The Commander stands for the virtues of wisdom, sincerely, benevolence, courage and strictness. 10. By method and discipline are to be understood the marshaling of the army in its proper subdivisions, the graduations of rank among the officers, the maintenance of roads by which supplies may reach the army, and the control of military expenditure. 11. These five heads should be familiar to every general: he who knows them will be victorious; he who knows them not will fail. 12. Therefore, in your deliberations, when seeking to determine the military conditions, let them be made the basis of a comparison, in this wise:-- 13. (1) Which of the two sovereigns is imbued with the Moral law? (2) Which of the two generals has most ability? (3) With whom lie the advantages derived from Heaven and Earth? (4) On which side is discipline most rigorously enforced? (5) Which army is stronger? (6) On which side are officers and men more highly trained? (7) In which army is there the greater constancy both in reward and punishment? 14. By means of these seven considerations I can forecast victory or defeat. 15. The general that hearkens to my counsel and acts upon it, will conquer: let such a one be retained in command! The general that hearkens not to my counsel nor acts upon it, will suffer defeat:--let such a one be dismissed! 16. While heading the profit of my counsel, avail yourself also of any helpful circumstances over and beyond the ordinary rules. 17. According as circumstances are favorable, one should modify one's plans. 18. All warfare is based on deception. 19. Hence, when able to attack, we must seem unable; when using our forces, we must seem inactive; when we are near, we must make the enemy believe we are far away; when far away, we must make him believe we are near. 20. Hold out baits to entice the enemy. Feign disorder, and crush him. 21. If he is secure at all points, be prepared for him. If he is in superior strength, evade him. 22. If your opponent is of choleric temper, seek to irritate him. Pretend to be weak, that he may grow arrogant. 23. If he is taking his ease, give him no rest. If his forces are united, separate them. 24. Attack him where he is unprepared, appear where you are not expected. 25. These military devices, leading to victory, must not be divulged beforehand. 26. Now the general who wins a battle makes many calculations in his temple ere the battle is fought. The general who loses a battle makes but few calculations beforehand. Thus do many calculations lead to victory, and few calculations to defeat: how much more no calculation at all! It is by attention to this point that I can foresee who is likely to win or lose. - At Last | Etta James
And here we are in heaven. At last, my love has come along My lonely days are over And life is like a song Ooh yeah, yeah At last, the skies above are blue My heart was wrapped up in clover The night I looked at you I found a dream, that I could speak to A dream that I can call my own I found a thrill to rest my cheek to A thrill that I have never known Ohh yeah yeah You smile You smile Oh and then the spell was cast And here we are in heaven For you are mine At last Liveology Yoga Studios creates uplifting content for your whole life.
