The building block of proteins. Vitamin B2, also known as riboflavin is a water soluble molecule that helps to release energy from food, promotes healthy hair, skin, and nail growth, the female reproductive system, and fetal development. Bacteria, plants, and fungi can manufacture riboflavin naturally. Humans cannot produce riboflavin, so it must be consumed through foods such as whole grains, nutritional yeast, beans, dairy, mushrooms, and leafy greens. 1 Riboflavin is an essential component to the formation of flavin mononucleotide (FMN) and flavin adenine dinucleotide (FAD). Both of these molecules are used to metabolize vitamin B3 (niacin), vitamin B6 (pyridoxine), and folate and are used to create flavoproteins, which are also used in a wide variety of biological processes. Riboflavin is water soluble and easily destroyed in sunlight, so food should be stored in a dark place. It is not easily destroyed by heat. I would change my clothes anywhere from 3-5 times a day. When pulling outfits together or assembling various looks stopped satisfying my creative urge, I turned to reconstructing my whole closet - cutting tops, shortening skirts even distressing old pairs of pants. I grew up between Los Angeles and New York, two fashion-conscious cities, which meant endless inspiration at my fingertips. I later attended the fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) where I earned two degrees in fashion design and fashion merchandising. During this time in my life I fell in love with vintage clothing. After college, I started to travel more - discovering local boutiques and other hidden gems in every city. My ever-growing collection of vintage t-shirts evolved into Levi's as well. And that's when I began to repurpose them. It became a passion and an obsession. For years I've been cutting, distressing and altering my own jeans to fit my body better and, in turn, reflect my creativity. Sat nam. In the practice of Kundalini Yoga, we begin by tuning in. Similar to tuning into a radio station, you can only hear some of the frequency that you dial in and tune into. So when we say the Adi mantra Ong Namo Guru Dev Namo, we're turning it into what's called the Golden Chain teachings that came before us that share this wisdom and this information. So, just like radio waves are always present in the atmosphere with different ways different frequencies. So when we tune in to that frequency we're tuning in to a frequency of wisdom, tuning in to the divine intelligence that you can draw from that is within us, and all around us. So Ong Namo really translates to mean, I bow to the creative, infinite, that which created everything that which is an all, about their creative, infinite, that is all around us and also the divine teacher, the creative, infinite, that's within an infinite wisdom that was granted us at birth that beats your heart without you thinking about that digests your food, that breathes life into your lungs, and that is constantly creating and recreating inside. The Books of the Bible A Life Pleasing to God 1 Thessalonians 4:1 Finally, brothers and sisters, we ask and urge you in the Lord Jesus that, as you learned from us how you ought to live and to please God (as, in fact, you are doing), you should do so more and more. 2 For you know what instructions we gave you through the Lord Jesus. 3 For this is the will of God, your sanctification: that you abstain from fornication; 4 that each one of you know how to control your own body in holiness and honor, 5 not with lustful passion, like the Gentiles who do not know God; 6 that no one wrong or exploit a brother or sister in this matter, because the Lord is an avenger in all these things, just as we have already told you beforehand and solemnly warned you. 7 For God did not call us to impurity but in holiness. 8 Therefore whoever rejects this rejects not human authority but God, who also gives his Holy Spirit to you. 9 Now concerning love of the brothers and sisters, you do not need to have anyone write to you, for you yourselves have been taught by God to love one another; 10 and indeed you do love all the brothers and sisters throughout Macedonia. But we urge you, beloved, to do so more and more, 11 to aspire to live quietly, to mind your own affairs, and to work with your hands, as we directed you, 12 so that you may behave properly toward outsiders and be dependent on no one. The Coming of the Lord 13 But we do not want you to be uninformed, brothers and sisters, about those who have died, so that you may not grieve as others do who have no hope. 14 For since we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so, through Jesus, God will bring with him those who have died. 15 For this we declare to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, will by no means precede those who have died. 16 For the Lord himself, with a cry of command, with the archangel’s call and with the sound of God’s trumpet, will descend from heaven, and the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up in the clouds together with them to meet the Lord in the air; and so we will be with the Lord forever. 18 Therefore encourage one another with these words. Night and day we pray most earnestly that we may see you face to face and restore whatever is lacking in your faith. Timothy’s Encouraging Report 6 But Timothy has just now come to us from you, and has brought us the good news of your faith and love.
