Children’s book author and entrepreneur, Maya Cameron-Gordon, has been living a plant-based lifestyle for the last five years. In 2019, she helped co-found Vegan Mob with her husband and business partner, Toriano Gordon. Maya believes that drinking one smoothie a day is one of the easiest and most healthy things a person can do for themselves. This knowledge mixed with her skill and talent for making delicious and healthy smoothies inspired her to create the business Bougie Smoothie, a smoothie establishment/juice bar that mixes health with the themes of hip-hop, bay area culture and women’s empowerment. Maya is excited to share her delicious smoothies and juices (all made from organic and plant-based ingredients) with the world!
