Ashtanga ABCs Day 16 {Look Inward}

Challenge Pose: Paschimottanasana

Paschimottanasana is our first seated forward fold. For some reason, as you literally fold over yourself, seated folds have the effect of making you figuratively look inward. Forward folds pull your attention away from the external world and your surroundings, and invite you to self-reflection.

As you fold, reach toward your feet, wrap your peace fingers around your big toes if you can and look forward toward your toes. Suck in your low belly to help you fold more.
