Bob Ross is loved throughout the world for his oil painting tutorials. He joined the Air Force in 1960, where he took his first painting lesson and discovered the “wet-on-wet” oil painting technique. He launched the Joy of Painting on public television in 1982, recording over 400 episodes over 12 years.
