Lithium is commonly used in rechargeable batteries.

Lithium is the 3rd element on the periodic table and the 1st alkali metal. Lithium is silvery white in color and highly reactive, especially with water. In nature, lithium is found in rocks and minerals. It has no known natural biological role though is commonly prescribed to balance the mood. Lithium is commonly used in the creation of rechargeable batteries.
