Uttana Padasana | Raised Legs Pose


Open the heart and strengthen the low back with this closing sequence pose.






This pose traditionally comes after Matsyasana in the Ashtanga closing sequence.



How to:

  • Begin laying on the back or in Matsyasana.

  • Arch the back bringing the top of the head to the floor.

  • Lift the arms and place the palms together.

  • Hold for 8 breaths.
