Svadhisthana rules over our sexuality and our ability to create, both our ability to procreate as well as our ability to be creative, think outside the box, and to turn our ideas into reality. This orange colored chakra is related to water and reflects our ability to "go with the flow" of life.

An unbalanced sacral chakra can lead to an inability to let go of the past and enjoy the pleasures of life or an overindulgence in pleasures such as food, sex, or other beneficial things that can become distractions. Balance here can aid with feelings of unity with others, zest for life, and bursts of creative energy.
