English Translation: Reclined Hand to Big Toe Posture

How to:

  • Begin laying on your back.

  • On an inhale, lift the right leg and hold the big toe with the first two fingers of the right hand. Place the left hand on the left thigh.

  • On an exhale, press into the low back to lift the chin toward the shin. Hold for 5 breaths.

  • Inhale and bring the back to the floor.

  • On an exhale, take the leg out to the side, looking over the left shoulder.

  • Inhale and bring the leg back to center.

  • Exhale as you lift the chin toward the shin.

  • Inhale and lay back down. Exhale.

  • Repeat on the left side.
