Let's go deeper. I practice an asana heavy method of yoga, called Ashtanga. I talk about it a lot because it is what starts my day on most mornings and is the foundation of my understanding of yoga. Ashtanga yoga is very regimented. We practice a set sequence, and many of us practice with the guidance of a teacher, whom we build a relationship with over a number of years. Some people like me practice with their teacher daily, while some Americans go to other states or as far as to India to see their teachers, sometimes on an annual basis.
