Anyone who has read the New Testament may have wondered about all of the cities mentioned and what they are called today. Paul wrote two evangelical letters to the Corinthians, declaring that the Christ has come, establishing the church, and helping it to grow. Corinth was a city-state that remains a city today, though just a few miles away from the ancient city.
The Apostle Paul made multiple trips to Corinth during his ministry and founded the Church at Corinth around AD 49-50.
